The teacher who observes will be able to check firsthand, just like any other student, the development of the class, the suitability of content according to the level of the group, the methods used, student participation…etc. During the class, the observing teacher will not be able to intervene, but if the ‘observation of tutored classes’ option is chosen, during the two hours of teaching, they will be able to consult and share their comments with the teacher taking the class.

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT THE COURSE

"I loved it, it was a very rewarding experience watching Juanlu and Daniela, and above all the mentoring that we had, in wich we exchanged and discussed many ideas. I encourage you to keep promoting these kind of courses. The observation not only helps you learn from other professionals but also it helps you fix your own mistakes."

"In my most recent experience with AIL Madrid, I was able to obtain more knowledge in the use of new teaching methods and I loved how teacher Almudena taught her class. Also the unconditional support provided by Jesús, another teacher in the course. I would recommend AIL Madrid with my eyes closed thanks to the excellent observation course that they have organized."

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Of course, the course is aimed at all people with or without experience who want to see how a Spanish class works from the inside: materials, methodology, student-teacher interaction, etc.
The program will be whatever the teacher taking the class has prepared for the development of their classes, according to the level of their students. You will see that although they are group classes, they are still adapted to the needs of each and every one of the students.
Yes, you can choose to observe 10 hours of classes in two different levels, over one or two weeks. You can let us know your preferred time, but this will depend on the levels that we have available.
We will give you all the necessary resources to follow the class. You will receive the units that are going to be worked on in the sessions, and all the supplementary materials which the teacher uses in class.
Whether you choose to observe alone or observe with the contribution of the teacher, you will receive the same amount of observation time, although if you choose to observe alone, you will not have direct contact with the teacher taking the class. The advantage of the tutored option is that you have 2 hours, individually with the teacher, to be able to ask any questions or comment on the class. These 2 hours can be in 2 days with the same teacher if you only observe one level, or 1 hour with each teacher if you decide to observe two different levels.
If you ask for it, you will receive a course certificate, which states that you have taken a course of class observation (10/12hrs depending on the type of course).
